............................... ,many full stops ..... before me i found a very well organised and highly professional competition arena . due to the ever increasing quality of lifting in irish lifting there were more than 25 lifters preset . this indicated from the offset that irish weight lifting was healthier than ever. a wide range of lifters both male and female represented all the classes and provinces to a high degreee good to see the west represented strongly with joe keeping the west awake.

some lifters didnt perform to their normal high standards ( cough cough cathal cough cough bryrd cough cough full stop) but this did not dilute the standard of liftin, with pbs, bagels and bottles of heinkens across the weight classes. The high light of the tournament was the represenatation of iawla committee members and coaches from the hercules club ( insert dodgy dublin accent) ps john
mdaid we love and possible the most amazing 165 bench i have seen in my short little life.

cathal byrd has joined an illustrious group of bombers including mineself of two comps hpwever he has avoided the dreaded 0 for 6 that still plagues mineself oh please dr phil can you fit me in!!!!!!!! make the bad men stop
